So universities thrive on the ability of students to follow their minds and their voices where they go, to maybe even experiment a little bit and find those things. But college campuses, at least in their most idealized form, are something special. They’re a place where students get to go for four years to think in big ways about moral questions, and political questions, and ideas that help shape the world they’re going to spend the rest of their lives in.
